After a career in the private and charity sectors, I chose to become a teacher to share my knowledge with the next generation. However, I quickly encountered a system lacking innovation and objectivity. To seek better approaches, I looked beyond the public school system and explored pioneering educational models, such as Acton Academy. These organisations stood out for their ability to foster independence, encourage innovation, and reignite a genuine love for learning—qualities I found absent in traditional education.
